In March 2022, we turned this derelict and abandoned yard into Blue Collar Corner - Reading’s newest independent venue and our first permanent site. Featuring 1 bar, 2 floors & 4 kitchens, a huge beer garden in the Summer and covered, cosy and heated in the Winter, it was 6 years in the making.

With draught beer from Reading brewery Double-Barrelled, cocktails from the bar, rooftop vibes, banging DJ sets and the very best street food in the UK rotating in our kitchens, Reading’s greatest bar & street food arena is here.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

Yes absolutely - allowed until 8pm.

DO YOU TAKE BOOKINGS?

Yes, we have a small amount of booths available for groups of 8 or more, please book by going to: https://letsbookfor.com/blue-collar-corner Otherwise, we are primarily a walk in venue, so just turn up - we have lots of seats available.

WHAT BAR & FOOD OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE?

Our bar has 8 draught beer lines of Double-Barrelled beer, a cider & guest beer line + cocktails, wines, spirits & soft drinks. We rotate our food traders mixing local options with the very best street food traders in the UK.

DO THE FOOD TRADERS ROTATE?

Yes, they rotate every 1 - 4 weeks, keep an eye on our social media for details of current and upcoming food options

IS IT CHILD FRIENDLY?

Yes, until 8pm.

IS THERE COVER IN CASE OF RAIN?

Yes, the vast majority of the site is covered both upstairs and downstairs.

DO YOU HAVE HEATERS?

Yes, there are heaters on every table.

IS IT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes - the bar & all food options are accessible and we have disabled toilets.

DO YOU SERVE COFFEE?

Yes, we have coffee available at the bar that has been created in conjunction with local business Anonymous Coffee.
